Yorkshire based birder, unashamed twitcher, trainee bird ringer and part-time moth botherer with an interest in wildlife photography. My first love is birding, however, my passion for wildlife photography has grown rapidly in recent years. I'm very much an amateur photographer, though what I lack in photographic skill I make up for in enthusiasm.
I first started out digi-scoping with a compact camera but it didn't take long to graduate to a basic walk-around DSLR. I now use a pro DSLR and lens and dabble in a bit of macro photography. My love of birds and their photography has been nurtured along the way by some very skilled, knowledgeable and lovely people, to which I owe a great deal of gratitude - you know who you are!
The aim of this site is somewhere to host and share my images, rather than leaving them to sit on a hard drive for all eternity. The site is still a work in progress but I hope to keep adding to it as often as possible. If you've looked at a few galleries then thank you and I hope you've enjoyed what you've seen. Feedback is always welcomed as I strive to improve the images I take - please feel free to get in touch via the contact tab above.
